London Citizens is a broad-based alliance of 220 civil society institutions from across the city, who work together for the common good. At every Mayoral Election since 2000, London Citizens has listened to thousands of Londoners about what they want from their Mayor, in order to draw up a Citizens Agenda.
Just before the election, on 25th April 2012, London Citizens will hold an Accountability Assembly at which each of the four leading candidates will have a chance to respond to specific proposals on governance, housing, street safety, opportunities for young people and the Living Wage.
We want the four main mayoral candidates to implement the five demands of the “What Londoners Want” campaign, if they are elected to office. To do this we need Londoners to endorse the campaign by liking either the whole campaign or a specific issue. You can do this by clicking the "recommend" button and registering your support for change in London.
